ISO 80; f/5.7; 1/1000; 100mm; 7:24am (Canon SX10 on tripod)  Aperture preset: Public Enemies Opening Scene with saturation painted on the scorpion.

To be honest, I did not see this baby scorpion until I started looking at the pictures that I took this morning.  Wish I had noticed it because I could have worked on getting a cleaner photo of the this tiny, but dreaded creature.

I decided to use an August theme because none of the September  themes seems appropriate.

  1. I always like the bonus image – the one where there is something that you don’t see until you are reviewing/processing the image. I am not a fan of spiders wherever they might be!

  4. That creepy creature is camouflaged against that white flower. Nice catch!

  5. I can see why you didn’t see him….he really blends in…love the black and white tones on this!
