Not having anything for the theme “thin,” and feeling that all my photos of the African Daisy were looking oh-so-boring — I decided to change the perspective and try to take some of the photos from the “thin” side of the petal.

Later when I looked at the other photos, I realized that no matter how these photos are taken, these African Daisy petals look like the late 60s/early 70s “flower power!”

  1. Nice perspective on these lovely flowers!!

  2. I love the bright flowers! What a great idea to use the flowers for your thin theme. I haven’t been able to come up with anything for that one.

  3. Great idea! I hadn’t thought of that. You got a lovely, soft look on the petals that contrasts the sharpness of the edges. Nice concept and photos.

  4. Clever take on ‘thin’ and also the perspective provides a nice departure from the standard flower photo. Finding a unique angle is a great way to make a flower shot stand out.

  5. Very cool perspective….and what glorious colors, each of these is beautiful!

  6. Hi Judi,
Those are gorgeous! Love all the bright pretty shades to them. Have a great day!

  7. These are so pretty! You are right, though…they kind of remind me of the wallpaper in the Brady Bunch girls’ bedroom (ha!)

(Good guess on “Midsummer Night’s Dream” for the donkey head!)
