I found this outfit last January during the peak of the shows — during my first photowalk.  It didn’t quite fit any of the themes (or me)… but I’m glad since I think I’ve learned a few tricks and seen some good ideas about post-processing that I didn’t know in January.

In Aperture, I burned and gave definition to the glitter, saturated the red and yellow hues, desaturated the blue hues. Considering this photo was taken mid-day (I was such a amateur back then!), I’m pleased the way the photo came out.

My favorite part of the photo… when I took it and still now… is the sign for plus sizes right next to this skimpy little outfit!  Talk about a fantasy!

  1. Wow, what a way to capture multiple themes. Good eye!!

  2. Do like the composition. Seems like the outfit is worse to look at for women than a mirror!?!? LOL

  3. I’m just trying to picture where one would wear this in your neck of the woods! It’s glittering allright.

  4. That would have fit right in with the parade in San Francisco! LOL. I love the irony of the plus size sign next to this, too.

  5. A fantasy of mine always! LOL You did a great job with all of this glitter and dazzle!

  6. You did a great job with this. I like the juxtaposition of the sign with the dress too.

  7. Wonderful image, Judi. I love the selective coloring. I also like the light playing on the dress and the bangles.
    Very eyecatching.
