Seems like once you see one ball, you see them everywhere.  This is defective orange was found on a tree within a short walk from our site.  I started off with the goal of taking a photo of the “green” “ball” — but found this one orange to be so intriguing – and photogenic.

  1. Wonderful texture in this. I wonder what made it split open like that.

  2. I’m having a ball just watching your discoveries! That’s what I like about themes – they make you open your eyes and sometimes you’ll just stumble on that perfect photo because of it. The texture in this one is very appealing.

  3. This ball has a personality all of it’s own…another very cool find!

  4. I guess if we look there are balls everywhere. This is very interesting. It almost looks like something was cut away from the orange.

  5. Another nice ball! I’d love to have a glass of freshly squeezed OJ right now!

  6. Ah more Navel gazing Judi!
